Macharia Waruingi, MD, PhD

Dr. Waruingi is the founding Chair for the Kenya Development Network Consortium, a network for organizations and Diaspora focused on the advancement of health and human services in Kenya. Dr. Waruingi brings together an extensive network of health professionals in Kenya, and has years of practicing medicine in Kenya. Dr. Waruingi received his MD from the University of Nairobi and completed his medical residency in France, at the University of Limoges Regional Teaching Hospital. He has worked at Harvard University, Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, and at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
