Scott Emami – CEO

Scott has previously worked in Goma, DR Congo as a marketing manager for Hekima, a microfinance program of World Relief. He led the implementation of an impact assessment and invested heavily in training MFI staff. Mr. Emami also has over 5 years of medical technology and marketing experience as a Product Manager for Zimmer, a leading medical device manufacturer.

Scott’s familiarity with the region and extensive network in the African social change community position him to build our partner network and promote our services. Scott will also use this network for fundraising activities to enable the appropriate capital to be available to grow the business. Mr. Emami holds an M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
